Liquid Shipping Crate Table Featuring Heywood & Wakefield!

hen I first saw this item at a sale in Wisconsin this summer, I didn't think much of it. Besides being surrounded by tons of other items, it also had the cover on. After walking by it a gazillion times, I finally turned it around and saw these words above. After further investigation (ie, removing the cover), I was surprised to see this inside...

Well, I finally got around to doing a project with this fun piece. To help me show you what I did, Heywood & Wakefield have generously taken time from their schedule to make a guest appearance. "Hello," says Heywood. "Tally ho," says Wakefield. {note: Heywood & Wakefield have taken on British accents, so please read the following with that in mind.}

They've come dressed to the nines in their retro Hollywood style. If you can't tell them apart, Heywood is wearing the dark fur and Wakefield is sporting the brown.

Heywood says, "To begin this simple transformation, simply remove the lid. You can see the fabulous jar inside. No one knows for sure what was transported in this liquid shipping crate."

Wakefield continues, "We borrowed a glass round from another table, set it on top, and then added some  bits and baubles."

"Oh, so simple," says Heywood. "Any chair would love to have this table next to him. Wakefield and I simply adore it."

"Most assuredly, Heywood, you are correct. It is most perfect for tea time or simply enjoying a fireside chat," concurs Wakefield.

I hope you enjoyed Heywood & Wakefield's guest hosting. They love to be in front of the camera every chance they get. With that much talent, I don't blame them! What's that, Heywood? Tea?
