I
found these fab items at my favorite local antique store. This marble-topped table caught my eye because I love the white marble. I bought the table just for the top, which I intended to place upon another table base. When I got it home, I realized it was too small for that particular base. Sooo, how else could I use this beauty?
I snagged this small white cake stand from my beach cottage shelf and placed the marble round on top. I added a wire flower and cloche. Placed upon a vintage linen table cloth, it looks quite at home.
As I was walking by the front window a couple days later, I was mesmerized by the warmth and brightness of the afternoon sun. Very deceiving, since it was probably below zero on that Minnesota winter day!
I thought the marble round and cloche might look at home on the window seat.
I think it looks quite at home here, too.
Tanner highly approved. He's looking south...toward the warm hearts and warm weather of...um, I don't know...Texas? Missing my Texas girls!! Yup...all of 'em!
